SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

For photos of SEPA's previous paint outs, click on this link: SEPA photos

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Can't make it Sunday for either locations. Heading to Doolin on 11th, so might look to meeting up with JeanAnne's group.

Too far for me guys. I'll stick closer to home or take off to the west maybe during next week in the camper might meet up with JeanAnne Songco Martin in Carna or Doolin and paint along with her group.

Yes if you cross the bridge. The restaurant is on the Kilkenny side.

Is that Graiguenamanagh over the Kilkenny border?

I am likely to be in Wexford this w/e and would like to paint out with you guys, but not in Craighnamanagh as I will be in South Wexford around Lady's Island.

Marja and Myself are thinking of Creignamanagh this coming Sunday. I checked that the Waterside restaurant is open all day. WE could meet there 10.30/11 am for coffee..... Weather is looking partly cloudy...

OK, I'll send it now, Dick. 10 am in the public car park at Ferrycarraig.
