SEPA's Paintout here today, was very successful, with plenty of vantage points, within the relatively small area our group settled within. A mild day, with a slight breeze, which made it much more comfortable to paint...maybe the extra layers helped as well..it is winter still!

Thanks to:  John MacManus, Neil O Keefe, Kevin Freeney, Barry Lynch,Michael McGuire, Anne Cahill, Breda Stacey, Marie- Christine O Brien, Deirdre Furlong, Nuala Pearce and Jane Meyler .

The "South Slobs" is an area easily confused with  the better Known "North Slob", which contains the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve. Another hidden Gem along Wexford's coastline, and roughly about four miles from Wexford Town. The word Slob, comes from the Irish word "slab", meaning mud.
