The Art Hand is a new art school that runs intensive and challenging art courses in painting, photography, film-making, stained glass, ceramics and more. Currently at the Arts Centre in Downpatrick - until the end of the month is an exhibition entitled 'Littoral Zone' this is the intertidal area and as all of the artists showing live on the Ards Penninsula, scenes and impressions of the local shoreline predominate. The group 'Ards Art Collective' comprise of 20+ professional artists; painters, sculpters and ceramisists so the work is an interesting mix.

Great day yesterday was had by one and all who turned up for our weekly paintout in Skerries.Despite the rain a few little masterpieces happened.Notice the fun some our members are having dancing away in the rain.Rock on lads.Always keeping the SUNNY side out.

What a wonderful day and everyone made it! We must make it out there again in warmer weather. Promise won't fall down on my hosting duties like yesterday by staying too long out in the cold and did feel it when I eventually gave up.
