I headed out again today as I had lots of paint left on my palette from yesterday - I recently got a new pochade box from Open boxM and it is great for just keeping bag loaded and ready to go when the weather is good - I had trouble with that sky and had to wipe it all out - it changed so fast and the flies were a nuisance but the surroundings were beautiful and the camera doesnt capture all the colours and details (unless your name is Sean )…

A beautiful day hosted by Michael McGuire who has been telling us about how great this place is for ages. Why didn't we listen? He's dead right, especially on a striking spring day like today. It was peaceful and only a few souls about, mostly walking the dog along the cliff paths and along the shore. 5 minute trip into the village of Fethard-on-Sea for coffee and a roll at lunchtime and we decided to ignore the harbour there and return to the cliffs in the afternoon.
