Best wishes to the festival this year!

Hi all,

Just a quick message to wish organisers and participants a fun Art in the Open 2012. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year as I'm away. But on the plus side the weather in Indonesia is pretty great!! I hope the festival is even bigger and better than previous years, so paint your socks off guys and hopefully I will make it down to see the exhibition at some stage when I get back!!!

Passionate about Pastels!

It was during the Art in the Open festival '09 that I was introduced to pastels after watching a demonstration by Greg Moore. Since then I have grown to love this medium, trying out different brands of soft pastels and various types of pastel grounds of which Unison and Sennelier pastels being my favourite and Clairefontaine pastelmat my preferred ground to work on. Trip to Leenane PEBV
