Saturday Paint-Out PEBV Clogherhead at Little Strand Restaurant

Great forecast  (relatively speaking) for Saturday. So how about a day at the sea-side? Meet up at the Waterside House Hotel in Donabate, Co. Dublin, Saturday 4th August at 11am for coffee. Hotel overlooks beach.  Lovely beach with Martello Tower and views towards Dublin and Wicklow, and if you like follow the cliff walk into next village (Portrane).  Donabate Village and surrounding areas (including Newbridge House) has lots of inspiration for painting. My weekends have been hectic latley Alison but have wanted to paint at that park for ages so had a free day sunday, it was so cold but beautiful - I might get back next sat and will email if I am and should know by wednesday, depending on where the paint out is for the group !

Sally does a magnificant job on shadows in water. Do you remember the swans in the water?? I'm putting some in the foreground of the gates. I'll put up painting when finished. I'm interested myself to see how it will turn out. I've never been to Balbriggan, looking forward to it.

Loughcrew another wonderful day!

What a wonderful day and everyone made it! We must make it out there again in warmer weather.  Promise won't fall down on my hosting duties like yesterday by staying too long out in the cold and did feel it when I eventually gave up.

Boyne Valley - Skerries Paint-Out Sat 19th Nov

Had a wonderful day out painting in Skerries where I fell off my perch while looking at the below view of the Perch!
