Subscriptions made to both these sites are being donated to The Red Cross, following the devastation from Hurricane Sandy. A good way to renew your membership, or join ..and support our…

Botanic Gardens ant Out

Sorry to miss to-morrow's paint-out in Botanics but I have a bad head cold and despite the fact that Botanics is just round corner from me I won't make it.  Hope it's not too cold for you all although I have a feeling bad weather does not deter many of you.  Hope I'm not going to be a fair weather painter - it remains to be seen.    Enjoy your day.  Eileen.

SEPA Paint Out at Ballycross Apple Farm , Bridgetown Co. Wexford 16/9/12

Phil Holfer, Kevin Lewis, Anne Cahill, Philip Dundon, George McHugh, Nuala Pearce and K. Scannell.

A new venue for SEPA,  Ballycross Apple Farm didn't disappoint, with a great farm yard, animals, and landscape to choose from. The tea and waffles helped also, to refuel in between paintings :)

Thanks to Liz and Christien for welcoming us today.

We hope to return again in two…

Making an Exhibition of Myself!

I have an exhibition running at the moment in the Cedars Hotel, Rosslare Strand (continues until 29th September), and to draw attention to it, I've decided to paint occasionally in the hotel lobby. I did my first session last Wednesday afternoon and got this far after about three hours or so (the painting is 20" x 24" oil on canvas - I'm using a small plein air study as a reference - the scene is near the Blasket Interpretive Centre in West Kerry):-…
