SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

For photos of SEPA's previous paint outs, click on this link: SEPA photos

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Should have definitive word on parking permits after tomorrow's meeting.

Are there any parking permits this year?

Dieuwer Elema from the Netherlands is looking for somewhere to park her camper bus during the festival somewhere central to Wexford town. She is booked into the park from Thursday to Sunday inclusive. Please leave a message here if you can help.

I have an apartment in Wexford from Saturday to Saturday which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I can offer it to this person at half the cost, but don't want any thai massage. She will be independent and can do her own things.

If you want to put her in touch with me.

Grub and a Rub

Art in the Open Festival has had requests for offers of accommodation from a lady volunteer and a lady participant. The former, a qualified nurse, offers a couple of sessions of massage (Head, Swedish, Thai and Holistic Healing). The latter offers a little domestic work and to cook a couple of meals. If any locals have a spare billet for a fellow artist for the week, let me know and I can pass on details. Thanks!

Thanks for reminding me of that, Karen. I'll have a lie in then and get up at 6-00 am. See you all tomorrow then.

Hello All,

So sorry to miss tomorrow's outing, but as we are back in Wexford, I'll look forward to the next paintout.  Have a great time tomorrow... :+) Lynne
