SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Ballycross Apple Farm mentioned, do you want to suggest a place Sheila?

Any venue planned for this Sunday 27th?

This is a photo of the sign just as you come into Camolin from Enniscorthy/Ferns pointing to the Ballymore Historic Features. You'll probably see the red pump before you see the sign. Then up the road and youu'll see more signs on corners and in hedges. The Bally more has  wonderful views over the landscape to the mountains. Big old  buildings. Horses. Site of a 1798 Rebel camp site. Should be a great paintout. And we are to donate €6 a head for the Tour (even though we won't take it) as a contribution to the upkeep and maintenance. Hope to see Y'all on Sunday at Ballymore.

Just to remind you that Marja's  demonstration on her unique style of painting is in the Enniscorthy Library tonight Thurs 3 Sept at 7 pm til 8.30. This will be followed by a workshop to explore your own creativity. It's a free event and materials are included. All welcome.

All the best

Dick

Just wondering whether anyone found a yellow lunch bag in Clonegal last Sunday. Looks like I may have left it on the bench near the river.
