SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

For photos of SEPA's previous paint outs, click on this link: SEPA photos

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

PAINTOUT INISTIOGUE 20/10/24  Weather looks autumnal but there will be plenty of shelter around the village if we need it and it’s a very pretty village. Meet at The Woodman cafe from 11

PAINTOUT WHEELOCKS STRAWBERRY FEST Sunday 7/7 We’ve been invited by Cyril Wheelock to paint at the festival this weekend: there will be food and craft stalls, music and dancing but also woods and stream and farms so I’m sure we’ll find something to paint! See you at 11 by whatever coffee area the first to arrive find
