Hello All,

I've put the Summerhill, paint-out up as an event. Hope many of you can

make it and that the weather is kind to us. If anyone needs a little help

with directions I should be able to oblige.

Know I should make the effort but will let you know on the day as it will take more than an hour of cross country to get there as don't want to do the m50. So if up early should make it!

Good on ya Patrick, knew you would come up trumps.Sounds ideal. Why don't you host the event by putting the notice up on the site???[ and give us sheer mortals the directions there] Will you also check with either Watson s or Shaw's that they will be open at that time  for coffee.Great hearing from you.Hope you had a fantastic Xmas and the best new year.l ever.See you next Saturday.Looking forward to seeing you then.Dee.

Happy new year to you all

Hi Dee, Summerhill has a green in the centre which would be good to sit out and paint from. At one end there is the entrance to what was Langfords House, now demolished. At the other is the road to trim with Shaw's pub. Either side are cottages and townhouses. So it would be a nice place for some rural village vistas. As for coffee there is either Shaw's pub or a little cafe called Watson's
