PEBV Paint-out at Bru-Na-Boinne Visitor Centre - cafe

April 27, 2013 from 11am to 3:30pm
Meet on sat in the coffee shop at Bru-na-Boinne, this is the visitor centre near Donore, last year we met at the other visitor cenre which is across the river so check your route first (see link below)This will give us an opportunity to see the gallery space for the forthcoming exhibition in May and finalise details.  From here we will probably go across the river to places near Townley hall or the Curley Hole or there are lovely places to paint along the canal and river looking towards…See More

pebv paintout and exhibition discussion at Barista Coffee Shop

April 13, 2013 from 11am to 4pm
There was  a great response re upcoming exhibition.  Thank you all for replying so promptly.  Decisions now need to be made so if you want to have an input come to Trim Castle Hotel Coffee shop for 11 a.m. on Saturday.  Contributions made at this stage are very much appreciated. Paint-out will happen after coffee as usual.  Pat Holton, our Trim expert, will advise us on suitable painting sites. Trim is the least uncomfortable location I could think of so hope you can make it.See More

Thank you Caroline for you kind comments about my work.  I loved painting in that area.  I have very fond memories of Ireland.  Seems like the skies are very dramatic and have a look very different from where I live.  I think it has something to do with the rain.

Hi Caroline, we're still hoping to see you soon.  How is the arm, thumb etc, Frank is organising next week paintout - in Carlingford or thereabouts.

Re; exhibition - there are so many going on, I had an opening last week, Alison, Dee, Sean and Frank opened theirs today in Ardgillan. That was really high standard.  And then there's PEBV in Oldbridge end April.  Will be see you before that?
