Happy new year everyone. Ok, I know looking out the window today Plein Air

painting is the more than likely the least important priority on every ones mind, but i just thought of testing the waters. Has anyone got suggestions? This being a collective enterprise I am loath to come up with a location which may suit me but might not be too attractive to others. (i.e. Summerhill my local village). Weather forecast for next Saturday is not great but Wednesday and Thursday look promising.

A very happy Christmas to you all! Thanks guys for your great company during our paintouts.I have been doing lots of knitting and stitching  recently and I am so looking forward to doing much more painting in 2013.

I have painted in the snow, apart from the cold, it is a lovely challenge. Hopefully we wont have a repeat of snow we had a few winters ago! (It would be too hard to get out to paint!)

You beat me to it Patrick!! I was just about to text everyone.  I hope all BVPE have a Happy Christmas and a good New Year. See everyone in the New Year for more painting outings, and hopefully some exhibitions for the coming year.

Thats great Frank - that would be a challenge with all that space to fill, its a lovely place all year round and I was amazed at all the flowers still in bloom last week - I had to resist heading straight for all those lovely geraniums in the greenhouse at the entrance !

Thanks guys. I sent an email to Felicity Gaffney in Bot Gardens asking her for a slot for BVPA to exhibit, either before or after Christmas. Will keep you posted
