June 9, 2018 from 11am to 3:30pm
Unfortunately we will have to postpone our drip on Saturday to Delvin Bog with Norah. Instead we meet this Saturday, in Lakeside Manor Hotel, Vitginia, Co.Cavan on the shores of Lough Ramor. The lake is the obvious attraction with its islands and marina. It is about one hour from Dublin and a direct drive on the N3.  The Lakeside Manor is about 1 mile BEFORE the town of Virginia.  You can’t miss it on the left hand side.See More

Howth paint out at Howth, North County Dublin

May 5, 2018 all day
The beautiful and diverse village of Howth beckons for this saturday.  Subjects range from a huge variety of boats, old village houses if you meander the back streets and of course the wonderful heather and gorse are in bloom for those seeking a touch of vibrant colour.  In a change from previous paint outs I plan to arrive around 10am to paint , then break for lunch around 1pm before either trying a second painting or whatever the mood takes on the day.  Hope to meet some of you thereSee More

Plein Eire Boyne Valley Paintout-Farmleigh, Phoenix Pk, Dublin 12th Nov 2016

Really great to see so many people today enjoying Farmleigh and the absolutely brilliant weather we had.  Eleven people turned up (hoping I counted everyone in!), and unfortunately I forgot to take any photo of the group.  A great attendance, and plenty of work done.  Farmleigh is a fabulous place to paint in as there is so much subject matter.  I even saw a Herd of Deer including little ones, and by the time I got out my camera to take a photo in the excitement of seeing them up so close,…

Hill of Tara, Co. Meath

P.E,B,V, at the HIll of Tara, Co. Meath 29th August 2015.  We all had a great day in between two very heavy showers

which probably helped my painting! Great to see everyone today, especially Kay and Rita and a new member Carrie.

When the rain cleared away the sun came back out, and it turned into a…
