🖌️🎨🖼️ The paint out on Saturday, 3 January 2026, is at Portnablagh. We will be meeting at 10am in Muck’n’Muffin and make our way from there. We are in winter so wrap yourself up nicely, bring what you need to stay warm and comfy for the duration of the paintout or as long as you are staying. Rain gear is probably a good idea and let’s not forget a snack or light lunch, hot drink, chair and - your art materials or whatever you want to spend your time with. All are welcome to come along in body -…See More

Gaeltacht thair tir Chona - Inver at Ahoy Cafe Killybegs

November 1, 2025 from 10am to 4pm
🖌️🎨🖼️  The paintout on Saturday, 1 November 2025 is at Inver where you have St Naul’s monastery and graveyard on one end and a little harbour on the other. Gaeltacht thair tir Chona - Boat strand/Island of dead at Time and tide

September 27, 2025 from 10am to 4pm
🖌️🎨🖼️ The paintout this Saturday, 27 September 2025 is at the Boat strand (Carnboy) beyond the airport in Carrickfinn. We will be meeting at 10am in Time and tide on Annagry’s Main street for a cuppa and make our way from there. At this time of the year it should be a quiet beach yet who knows, there might be wild swimmers, dog walkers, boats… The weather is looking mixed so trust your own judgment and bring what you need to be comfortable for the day: raincoats, umbrellas, wellies, tent, hot…See More

Sorry for only getting back to you now.  I somehow didn't see the Friend Request, so apologies for that.  Wishing you the very best with your "New Duties".  Dee will be a very hard act to follow, and we had some really great times up in "her Sweet Donegal", and hope we will again!

A beautiful county for scenery and wild beauty, and a really lovely group of local artists.

A lot of Caroline's spelt loads of different ways!

Hello Carolin, yes you are right. We could never figure out how it happened but I suspect it has caused me a lot of bother. If you can get rid of the other one I give you permission to do so Carolin. I am not even on the friends list and I suspect for the same reason. Nora

hello Carolin. I'm a dormant member but I might venture out one fine day! Good luck with your new post. Carolyn (pronounced the same way as yours when I'm lucky!)

thank you Carolin for inviting me as your friend.  Good luck with your new responsibilities in  Gaeltacht-Thair-Tir-Chona.  Dee's will be hard boots to fill.

Welcome Carolin, I hope you get lots of enjoyment from this site, There's a very good Plein air group active in Donegal, you should see paint-outs posted nearly every weekend by them, a hardy bunch, weather does not seem to frighten them at all!! lol so be prepared to don the rain gear  and explore the joys of Plein Air  its challenges.
