The grounds of University College Cork

Sun March 29, 2015 from 2pm to 6pm. Meet the Southwest Group  at 2 pm at the Glucksman gallery Cafe on Sunday week for our first one this year and maybe Inchydoney then..? Organized, sort of,( ! ) by Fiona Devlin, encouragement by  Norma Healy.

Thank you for your comments. I think a lot of people are of the same mind.
If you could post a date for Kinsale on the site that would great.
Kinsale is always a popular event . Maybe sharing the event with someone else would be a good idea as no one knows when some thing could come up last minute.
Looking forward to a busy season of plein air painting and meeting new people.

Great to hear things are getting going again ,  I often wonder if people just posting  what they are doing - like Monica and Norma have just done-  might be more effective in the end,  as our  group covers such a large  area?  This way you could have people painting in say West Kerry and East Cork  on the same day   which may suit some  better from the traveling point of view ? but just a suggestion !!  

We would love to  see painters in Kinsale anytime and can I suggest the Trident Hotel at the end of the pier as a good meeting point ?  Its got good space indoors as well as a  sheltered outdoor patio  if anyone wants to paint close to base. Actons Hotel  has been renovated but the bar/ meeting area is much smaller  than before so its not as easy for a group to meet there now.

Sorry Monica and Norma, I wont be able to join you, would have loved that.  I will be in Amsterdam for the weekend, gathering photo references and inspiration from the Dutch masters.
