Plein Eire Dublin & DPSC joint Paint Out
Last Sat, Apr 9, saw the Plein Eire season really kick off with a joint outing with Plein Eire Dublin group and Dublin Painting & Sketching Club, members and anyboby who wanted to join in to get a taste of what painting and sketching out of doors is all about. Anyone like to join a Plien Eire group for the greater Dublin area - where the greatest concentration of the population in Ireland is - or do you think that need is catered for by the Dublin Sketchers Group?

The next time you are out painting around the Sutton area, I would very much like to see if we could arrange to meetup and have a chat about Plein Eire Painting in the Dublin Group.
This would be a whole new area of painting for me, as up to know I have only been painting in my small studio at home.
Just to inform you that I also like seascapes, as well as landscapes, and I would very much like to develop this area of painting with like minded people.

There was an Open Day advertised resulting in registration, selection and vetting processes. Perhaps keep an eye on the hospital website for further information. Hope this helps.

Hi John.
Thanks for the comments on the site which I'll look into. You should be able to edit the details of the Dublin Group as you are the initiator. However, I have made the changes you asked about and if you want to change the wording or whatever don't hesitate to get in touch.
The Discussion Forum on Dub PE is set to just cycle the latest 5 postings (headings only) and if there are out of date ones in view, its just because it is an unused facility. It can be discontinued if you prefer, or set to show only Group Admin discussions. The amount of text shown and the number of postings made visible can be varied. I guess it is generally for more pressing matters than the general 'Comment Wall'.
Anyway, I deleted the out-of-date exhibition notice and have left the facility there for now if you and members want to use it. Unfortunately, as site Admin. I don't see quite what you see on-screen, but I think you should have editorial control over the Dub PE area if you look for the 'edit' function. But as I say, if not, just ask and its easily fixed.
