Being very much a self-taught artist - and also being a bit of a rebel rather than a conformist - goes against me a bit in the confidence stakes when painting with a group. Everyone else seems so…Read on...

Hi Noelle. I actually have a Saturday off this week and am going to try and be there .... but 1am!!! Bit dark about then isn't it? :-) I hope it's okay but the only way I can be there is to bring my 88 year old Mum and her dog. They will sit happily in the car most of the time as long as I am nearby .... I'm assuming we're going to paint in and around the village so it should be easy for me to keep an eye on them. See you around the lunchtime 1 o'clock :-) Lynda
Hi all, I hope you see you at this saturdays paint out in Leenane. The foeacast is for a cool and mainly sunny day.....I hope!. There are 2 car [parks. Lets meet opposite that Tourist Shop and Wool visitor cente on the Westport road at the edge of the village. Thers a coffee shop there- hopefully open. I'll be there at 1am. The more the merrier, best regards, Noelle
Hi Annemarie
Thanks for that - if you've a printed brochure why not send it to me and I'll reciprocate - put it up in my studio/classroom. You seem to be planning a hectic summer, and you're painting really great paintings. John
Sorry I missed it too...the only morning I didn't check my e-mail !
Maam Bridge sounds like a good idea.
The area around Ballinahinch river with the old Station House is a suggestion for another time (no pub to retreat to though) just a Castle!
I missed the day out too, but would be delighted to go if you're planning one this coming sunday (13th March) or the one after (20th).
Noelle - did you take a month off work? Weere you painting?
Suzanne
Oh what a pity, i did'nt see this email, I would have loved to have gone. Is there any possibility of the message being texted? Are there any technical wizards out there who can make this website text too. Also, can we go out again soon on the next warm sunny saturday, Maam Bridge might be nice...mountains, a river, Nimmos house( a charming pub/cafe), boats.
