Talking of Robert Genn and 'The Painter's Keys', here's a summer workshop I came across to make your eyes water. It is by Robert Genn and Liz Wiltzen (who also writes a mean blog well worth keeping up with): http://www.canadianmountainholidays.com/heli-hiking/trips/painting
Hi Lynda,
You found me alright. I do hope all is well with you. Am kept busy and not making time for art..... I really need to organize myself and take the time out to paint. I look forward to catching up. Great to hear from you.
Hi there Lynda,
I am well at the moment ,just a little problem with the leg (an ulcer)family still keeping me busy.Have started art at home so am kept busy ,and how is life with you ,family are well i hope and what about your mam?.Do you know that Gerda passed away ,the lady you had lunch with when you were in limerick, well my pal is gone and is very much missed by me ,
Hi Lynda,
Thanks for befriending me. Just read through the vibrant 'Group Challenges' discussion you began on Plein Eire West - Some good responses. I hadn't spotted it before now. I think it is a feature of plein air in Ireland that there is a great variety and freedom to paint your own way. In the USA, where Plein Air is organised to a great extent with many competitions and awards and most events are for 'selected artists only', you get some fantastic work, but it does tend to be very similar.
Somehow, I doubt you are easily put out of your stride. Keep up the good work and do go ahead with that Moycullen Paint-Out.
Hi Lynda,
I would love you to join us for our first plein air weekend in Virginia in June. All details on www.virginiaopenairart.com
Great pictures, I think the hay fever inducing painting of the boat was well worth it!!
Welcome from an old Plain Ayre of about 4 days ago! How time flies. John
