In response to your message on 'Introduce Yourself', your paintings are highly finished - even the pencil studies - so it is always going to be a problem for painters who demand that. On the other hand, I've heard people say painting outdoors forces them to be more selective when faced with Mother nature, a trait which can be usefully employed back in the studio.
