Graiguenamangh's Town of Books festival have invited us to join them for the last weekend in August 2017, 25-27th.  Graiguenamangh will be overflowing with books for the weekend with 30+ booksellers from Ireland and the UK.There will be a complimentary coffee for perticipating outdoor artists in the Duiske Inn on Saturday and Sunday morning between 10am and 11.15 am. See More

Come join the event being held by an Gaeltacht thiar thir Chonaill, around the Maghery Penninsula, with breathtaking views, looking over to Sligo or Arranmore Island, there are sheep, cows, boats, cliffs, piers, something for everyone.We will meet in the Community Centre for coffee at 11am and a catch up with old friends or greeting new friends.We will finish up at 3pm and return to the centre for a wee bit of food or coffee, whatever you fancy.See More

First day of Art in the Open 2017 begins on Sunday 30th July in Wexford Town. Narrow streets, Selskar Abbey, mussel boats on the quay or the fabulous view from across the bridge. Volunteer for Art in the Open Festival 2015?


We are looking for 10 volunteers to help out at the Festival for a minimum of two days. You will have to find your own accommodation but in return you will get:

- Bus travel to each venue

- Lunch each day on your volunteer days

- Sit in on workshop of your choice on your volunteer days

- Barbeque at T. Morris

- Festival dinner at Riverbank House Hotel

Neil Carrigan RIP

I am posting these few paintings of late Plein Eire artist Neil Carrigan. It is only right to remove Neil's name from our current membership but I am sure his many friends and fellow artists would appreciate being able to refer to his work from time to time, His work and courageous words are his memorial.

Thank you! I am looking forward to see where this new connection leads me. I havae begun to paint for the new seaon here in northwest Denmark. If anyone ever comes this way, be sure to let me know and we can paint together - I have lived here for 14 years and there are many intriguing sites. I know it´s a long long way from Ireland ...but, not so far from Germany for example!
