No problem will post whatever I manage to do today!
If you can do it so can we!

Tks for info. I was at Oldbridge museum with MythicLinks.com tour in July - impressive place.
PleinEire Dublin continues thru winter - I'm sure PE SouthEast does too.
All the best

Hi John, wouldn't be familiar enough with Carlingford area to advise you but I do recommend Oldbridge. Its very near the M1. You take the exit for Drogheda/Slane and follow road towards Slane for about .75Km, At first Cross Road (Oldbridge) turn left (there is a sign for Battle of the Boyne). You will cross a metal bridge and I suggest you try to park on the right immediatelly after you cross the bridge. You are then on the banks of the old Boyne Canal.
It should be very lovely on Friday with Autumn colours and reflections etc.
It is also very nice if you continue towards Drogheda on the south bank of the river - views of the 'new' suspension bridge and town of Drogheda and the Boyne. Hope you enjoy.
N.B. our regular paintout is second Saturday OF THE MONTH. I'm wondering do groups take a winter break?Created by Plein Eire Administrator Jan 24, 2011 at 10:36am. Last updated by Plein Eire Administrator Jan 28, 2015.
