Sketching at Dublin City Hall, 2pm this Sunday!

[Dublin Sketchers]

This Sunday it will be Dublin City Hall. Dublin
Sketchers have only visited here once before and it was very
interesting. It is also nice and central for Easter Sunday.

The Rotunda has free entry but there is also an interesting exhibition
taking place for anyone who is interested, with a cover charge of €4
for adults (Senior Citizens: €2 (On production of travel pass etc.),
Students: €2 (On production of student card) andUnwaged: €2)

Meet at 2pm, at the entrance (to the left as you look at the building!).

I won't be there this weekend as I'm off home for Easter! Happy Sketching!!

Hey, unfortunately City Hall was closed on Easter Sunday, though there had been no mention of it on their website. The sketchers headed into Dublin Castle and sketched in a little Church there! The City Hall will have to wait for another outing!

I have linked to Plein Eire on our blog, will publicise it more at the meetups! Would be nice to have people join here too. Lots of our members do a lot of painting so I'm sure they'll be along shortly ;o)

Hi Tracy, those are some great drawings. 'Sketches' doesn't seem an adequate description, somehow.

It was great - very busy there but some lovely work done. Images have been put up on the main Dublin Sketchers blog, but I will put some up here now!

It is great that the weather is improving, we have almost exhausted our indoor locations at this stage and can't wait to visit Howth, Dun Laoghaire and others soon. Would love to arrange a collaborative meet-up with other groups, all in good time!
