New Beginnings

NEW BEGINNINGS – CAROLINE CUNNINGHAM ART

My 'New Beginnings' Exhibition of Paintings at the 'Lovin Spoon' cafe is a contradiction in itself seeing as the paintings themselves are not entirely 'new'. They have been hanging on walls of mine reminding me of my various new beginnings throughout my life. I have decided it is time to start afresh and put the 'old' behind me. Paint out at Lissadell 29/04/14

7 painters gathered at the "first beach" along the avenue to Lissadell House to capture the bluebells...in fact the bluebells were outnumbered by the swathes of wild garlic under the trees and we hadn't reckoned on the hungry early Midges!!!

Elaine and Roberta painted in oils...Elaine chose a beautiful little lane way with a rise to trees in the distance and captured the light beautifully. Roberta joined us from Ballyshannon on her first time on a Paint Out and persisted magnificently… Read on...
