🖌️🎨🖼️ The paintout on Saturday, 2 May 2026 is at Drumboe woods outside of Stranolar/Ballybofey with woodlands, a river and so much more. April 25, 2026 from 10:30am to 3pm
🖌️🎨🖼️ The paintout on Saturday, 25 April 2026 is at the picnic area at Lough Barra. There is much beauty to choose from: the lough, adjacent bog, hills at the back of Glenveagh as well as derelict houses, abandoned caravans, mature trees, wild roaming sheep, river beds with overgrowing trees, waterfalls along the river towards Doochary - and possibly blue bells with the turn out of weather...We will be meeting at 10.30am on location as there is nothing close by to gather...Temperatures are…See More

February 28, 2026 from 10am to 4pm
🖌️🎨🖼️ The paint out on Saturday, 28 February 2026, is at Baile na Finne (Fintown) railway which provides a view of the lough from a lower level, as well as across, down and of course plenty of buildings and boats too. 🖌️🎨🖼️ The paint out on Saturday, 31 January 2026, is at Portnoon (Narin beach). We will be meeting at 10am in Pirates of the Coffeebean in Narin and make our way from there. We are in winter so wrap yourself up nicely, bring what you need to stay warm and comfy for the duration of the paintout or as long as you are staying. Sorry for only getting back to you now.  I somehow didn't see the Friend Request, so apologies for that.  Wishing you the very best with your "New Duties".  Dee will be a very hard act to follow, and we had some really great times up in "her Sweet Donegal", and hope we will again!

A beautiful county for scenery and wild beauty, and a really lovely group of local artists.

A lot of Caroline's spelt loads of different ways!

Hello Carolin, yes you are right. We could never figure out how it happened but I suspect it has caused me a lot of bother. If you can get rid of the other one I give you permission to do so Carolin. I am not even on the friends list and I suspect for the same reason. Nora

hello Carolin. I'm a dormant member but I might venture out one fine day! Good luck with your new post. Carolyn (pronounced the same way as yours when I'm lucky!)

thank you Carolin for inviting me as your friend.  Good luck with your new responsibilities in  Gaeltacht-Thair-Tir-Chona.  Dee's will be hard boots to fill.

Welcome Carolin, I hope you get lots of enjoyment from this site, There's a very good Plein air group active in Donegal, you should see paint-outs posted nearly every weekend by them, a hardy bunch, weather does not seem to frighten them at all!! lol so be prepared to don the rain gear  and explore the joys of Plein Air  its challenges.
