Greetings Sally, thank you for your kind invitation to join the group. I would be delighted and honored. Thank you and all the group for the lovely welcome at Listoke Gardens. Really enjoyed the day and meeting you all. I am very new to this discipline and thank you for all your kind comments and support. It was a beautiful location and there was splendid work produced by all on the day. After 25 years using graphic arts software and computer input for illustration and design, it is such a pleasure trying to get my hand, eye and brain to co-operate together to get a result on paper by pencil. Hopefully soon I can finally produce lovely loose flowing atmospheric work, like your excellent charcoal sketch on the day. Ps the biscuits and cuppas on the day were great too.
Sincere apologies for the delay getting back to you. Now I just have to figure out how to get my pencil sketch onto this site. Very best regards to all. Brian.
No problem Sally. I passed on your number to Jenny earlier.
Hi Sally. I was contacted by Jenny Callahan the photographer who was in Listoke House when you were there the other day. Jenny would like to give you the photos taken on the day. Have you a contact number I can pass onto her for you.
Thank you Sally. I really enjoyed that days painting on the bank of the river Barrow in Carlow
