I almost expect the pooka to flit through. Or a faun dip her toe in. Atmospheric, Sally.
I love the light and the sense of movement. Great brushwork well done.
Thank you Norah and Kyrle. Flattered that it drove you to poetry Norah.
I love this Sally, it reminds me of a walk Paddy and I did a few weeks ago in Sligo -
And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow, Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings; There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow, And evening full of the linnet's wings.
Well Sally you have done beautiful work in these. It looks like the weather was glorious, wonderful! I'll bet you are very pleased with these gems! They look like paintings that somebody had a great time En Plein Air. I'm real sorry I wasn't there that day.
Again Sally you've nailed this one! Lovely light on the left hand tree and water, and you can almost hear it gurgling away in that lake of foam. Love the dark water in the foreground. Beautiful.
