SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

the bus sounds better than travelling alone!

But not 'I see a red door and I want to paint it bla.......''

I'll walk rather than get on that bus!

Great idea Kevin!

Maybe we could hire a bus if we had the numbers, though I know people like to be independant. But think of the sing song on the way; "Yellow Submarine", "Red Sails in the Sunset", "Blue Suede Shoes" would cover the primary colours and what about "I Don't Like Sunhaze"...

That would make a nice initiation to the group for me as I would not have too far to travel. Say cheese everyone :)

Would love to be there. I think we should get as many Kevins as possible in the Glen.

Glendalough would be very handy for me!

I'd be up for it Karen. But definitely car pooling because as far as I know the car park three has gotten very pricey.

How does anyone feel about Glendalough sometime in the summer as Lize suggests? We could schedule it "in between" weeks if anyone is interested...carpooling would make sense....
