At a well-attended gathering at Wexford Credit Union on Friday evening Wexford in Bloom prominently displayed approximately 16 paintings by SEPA members around the foyer. The artists drew great praise both for their support of Wexford-in-Bloom festival and for the quality of the work itself. Indeed, so delighted were businesses depicted that it appeared four of the paintings were about to be bought before the end of the evening.

The Commercial Premises Award was won by Greenacres/Jacques Bistro and the SEPA member drawing that property to paint last Sunday was Tony Robinson whose painting was presented to Greenacres.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in Sunday's novel, mystery paint-out in support of Wexford in Bloom.

This was the best fun ever!  Watching the faces - some of delight, some (like mine) of horror to pick a 'building' to paint from a hat (hat courtesy of Mr Antony Robinson) was absolutely hilarious while sipping beautiful cappuccini (plural italian - one cappucino, two c.. etc) ... well done Ms Karisma Scannell and Anto!

Would love to attend, Karen, but I'm doing a week-end workshop (Bob Lynn) in Bunclody. The weather looks promising anyway.
