Event Description

Leighlinbridge this year won its eighth consecutive gold

 medal in the Tidy Towns Competition. Limestone Malt houses, jagged castle ruins and 14th century bridge, Leighlinbridge, straddling the River Barrow, opens a vista of an earlier Ireland to the visitor.

10. 30 - Meet and park in The Lord Bagenal Hotel hotel

Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival.

There is a large covered terrace overlooking the

Barrow that can be used in the event of rain.

11.00am - Off to Paint/sketch

1.30pm - lunch, either bring a packed lunch or

The hotel is popular for carvery lunch and

2.30pm - back to paint/sketch

5.30pm - wind up the day with a cuppa/pint in

The Lord Bagnel Hotel
