Yes it is Alison.  We talked about painting the canal/river.  They are not within walking distance of coffee shop but only a short drive away. Alternatively we could paint in the grounds around Oldbridge House.

Is that Oldbridge House near the Battle of the Boyne Site?  Very appropriate if it is.

Next Venue for Plein Eire Boyne Valley is next saturday 29th October in Oldbridge Visitor Centre, near Drogheda.  Meeting in the coffee shop there at the earlier time of 10.30 am to allow for the darker evenings. As well as the gardens there is the canal and river nearby, so lots of scope for lovely paintings!

Thanks to everyone for a great day yesterday. At least we got a few hours painting in before we had to abandon it due to rain. (the coffee was VERY good!!). Going to work on my painting tomorrow and also have a go at putting cow and calves in.
