I will be thinking of you all next week as you are happily painting away each day. I sorely wish I could be with you all. May you have fair

We'll miss you and Jen from our midst this year. Still, I hope you'll join us in posting on Plein Eire so we can see what you are doing and I'm sure the activity on here will become fairly hectic over the next two weeks.

The fun is guaranteed but the sun isn't.
Nevertheless, this coming weekend looks good so we are hopeful it will remain fair and the 'sunny south-east' live up to its reputation - I was thinking of investing in a big hat like Jen Holmes' just in case. What d'you reckon?
Trouble is, I don't think I've got her panache to carry it off....happy painting!

Ditto to that. Wish I could be there also. Just as in other parts of the southeast of the US, it is HOT. Finally today it is better, but it has been brutal. I hope you all have wonderful painting weather, and I will be excited to see what is created.

I thought saying the weather is 'brutal' was an Irish expression? I'm sure there'llbe plenty of postings over the coming week. First paint-out is tomorrow to the fishing village of Kilmore Quay.

Sorry you couldn't make it, Jen and yourself were sadly missed. We had great fun again this year and a new gallery crowned the exhibition. I'm sure you will see lots of posts of the work soon. Hope to see you next year
