John Cullinan, Auther, Liz, Rosemary Chapman(Annestown) all local artists were there to greet our crew as they arrived in Annestown Yesterday. Thanks to all, as they informed us about the area and made us feel very welcome.

The excitement of seeing a new venue, may have gotten to us, as we dispersed along the coast, which meant that our group was a little disjointed. 

Though the day started a little cloudy, the sun broke through by early afternoon, resulting in ideal conditions for painting . For anyone that took a look at the coast beyond Annestown, there were more treats in store, with dramatic  and beautiful coastlines, and water which had a beautiful hue ( explained to me by Niall, that it was the result of the Copper reacting to the water).

After a very relaxing and inspiring day, we wrapped up about 5pm and headed on to Fenor Village for a chat about it all:

John Cullinan, Aurthur,Rosemary Chapman ( Annestown), Liz, Sue, Anne, Phil, Louise, Niall, George, also Norma, Bridget Mackey and her lovely daughter Ellie, whom we met for the first time .

A total of 14 made the trip.I hope everyone enjoyed the day. Waterford's Copper Coast, is definitely highly recommended, for a return visit...
