SEPA Paint out - Fethard on Sea - 5/6/11

What a change in weather a day brings! From yesterday's highs of about 23 degrees, our day today started out very chilly indeed!! Poor Geraldine had made the trip from Co. Wicklow yesterday in great weather, to be confronted this morning with a blast of c-c-c-cold air!

Feathard on Sea had a couple of events on during the day, so most of the group decided to try Fethard Harbour." Medals for Bravery in the field", will be issued to , Geraldine, Laura, and Helen, for their stubborn insistence to stay in the coldest, windiest spot in the country, to get the best vantage point!! Bula - bus !!

Certificates of "influenza" will be issued also to Pavlina, Anne, and also Philip who took shelter from the stinging cold, behind a van!!

Tina and Mary, were able to make it also, painting around the cars coming and going through the harbour!

Just as everyone had had enough, murmuring something of "thermals" and "hot toddies", and keyes turned in the ignition switches of cars......a faint light appeared on the horizon. 

Sure enough a couple of miles from home, beautiful sunshine broke through for the most fabulous of evening light! Looks like we arrived a little too early this morning for the show!!

Thanks to  Tina, Mary ,Philip, Geraldine, Laura,Anne, Pavlina, Helen, for sticking it out!! Early beds tonight ...and plenty of vitiman C!!!
