Plein Eire

Your Site For Artists Who Paint Outdoors

A very good turn out yesterday in wet cold windy conditions.  Some artists painted from their cars, others got shelter behind walls and I sat on a bench at the beach.   Great to see everyone make the effort to go yesterday.  There was plenty to paint but sadly the weather made it difficult to even stay outdoors.  Worth a return visit in better conditions.  I think winter has arrived and apologies as I forgot to take a photo of the group for posterity.

Caroline, thanks for organising and for sticking with it despite the weather. It was very good for our souls - a taste of what's to come. It's difficult to change from summer mode to winter mode so suddenly.
