Really great to see so many people today enjoying Farmleigh and the absolutely brilliant weather we had. Eleven people turned up (hoping I counted everyone in!), and unfortunately I forgot to take any photo of the group. A great attendance, and plenty of work done. Farmleigh is a fabulous place to paint in as there is so much subject matter. I even saw a Herd of Deer including little ones, and by the time I got out my camera to take a photo in the excitement of seeing them up so close,…

P.E,B,V, at the HIll of Tara, Co. Meath 29th August 2015. We all had a great day in between two very heavy showers
which probably helped my painting! Great to see everyone today, especially Kay and Rita and a new member Carrie.
When the rain cleared away the sun came back out, and it turned into a beautiful afternoon. It really is a magical place once you are…

Back last Saturday 30th May 2015 by popular demand to Sonairte, near Laytown, Co Meath. A great crowd turned up, and missing from the photo are Kay Martin, Valerie Syms Martin, Phil Holfer & David Goldberg. Hoping I left no one out! A very cold and windy day, but there is no stopping P.E.B.V. - we paint in all weathers!
Great to see…

We had a great day on the Hill of Tara, Co. Meath painting. It was like a game of "Hide & Seek" to find the Hill of Tara, as very dense fog made driving conditions, finding roads and even trying to see and read signposts very difficult to see in the morning. It quickly cleared up and turned out to be a fantastic warm day and great paintings were produced. Missing from the photo is Roisin. Thanks to everyone who turned…

A very good turn out yesterday in wet cold windy conditions. Some artists painted from their cars, others got shelter behind walls and I sat on a bench at the beach. Great to see everyone make the effort to go yesterday. There was plenty to paint but sadly the weather made it difficult to even stay outdoors. Worth a return visit in better conditions. I think winter has arrived and apologies as I forgot to take a photo of the group for posterity.
