I have an exhibition running at the moment in the Cedars Hotel, Rosslare Strand (continues until 29th September), and to draw attention to it, I've decided to paint occasionally in the hotel lobby. I did my first session last Wednesday afternoon and got this far after about three hours or so (the painting is 20" x 24" oil on canvas - I'm using a small plein air study as a reference - the scene is near the Blasket Interpretive Centre in West Kerry):-
I'll be back painting there tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday 29th August), and will hopefully finish the painting or at least bring it close to a finish before I leave. Please drop in if you're in the area.

Enjoyed the afternoon Michael, and sure it's easy to take a good photo of a "gracious model " !!
Your work looks fab ...... it was well worth the visit !
Thanks Norah.
Best of luck Michael - would love to see that demo
The way things are gone, Tony, if anyone buys a painting they can have both a pint and an Irish coffee!
It is well worth a visit to see the paintings even if one wasn't there in person to watch you at work.
And was I told you are buying a pint or an Irish coffee for everyone who calls in - did I hear that correctly?
...Only if you buy a painting?
It's still a good offer.
Best of luck with the show, Michael.
