These four pieces were completed at the Brandenburg Berlin Painting event at Alttymen earlier this year. The paintings bring back lovely memories of painting with friends and artists both old and new.
Three were done en plein air and the fourth was painted upstairs looking at the landing window on the third floor outside the kitchen.

The three paintings that I posted here today were from a trip to Zion which Jane Meyler and I made after the Plein Air Convention in 2012. It was difficult to keep a flow to the work as the heat literally sucked the moisture out of the paper. Luckily I had a spray bottle to use this did help and I would advise anyone painting watercolour in warm temperatures to have a spray bottle to hand it really helps.
