Back last Saturday 30th May 2015 by popular demand to Sonairte, near Laytown, Co Meath.  A great crowd turned up, and missing from the photo are Kay Martin, Valerie Syms Martin, Phil Holfer & David Goldberg.  Hoping I left no one out!  A very cold and windy day, but there is no stopping P.E.B.V. - we paint in all weathers!

went back up there yesterday and painted on the river in the morning trying to finish a piece. And in the afternoon I started a pic of the garden but needs a lot more work. So I hope to make it on Saturday.

Getting ready for the "off"  - Sheila, Lisa, John, Karen, Dee, Michael. And the sun is just about to oblige.....

At least twelve of us fell for Sean's Bluebell propaganda and turned up in Ardgillan today.  However he did find a glade of bluebells and the image below shows proof of him collecting poof of bluebells.  We had a truly great day and he used his influence to ensure beautiful weather.  Thanks Sean.

We are looking for 10 volunteers to help out at the Festival for a minimum of two days. You will have to find your own accommodation but in return you will get:

- Bus travel to each venue

- Lunch each day on your volunteer days

- Sit in on workshop of your choice on your volunteer days

- Barbeque at T. Morris

- Festival dinner at Riverbank House Hotel

Forecast for to-day warned all week that today would be very cold with heavy rain all day.  Nevertheless five B V members showed up in Virginia to paint bluebells!   We spent two hours over breakfast/coffee in the vain hope that rain might ease off.   It didn't really.  But we set out anyway.  Some lovely paintings were produced, also a few very wet in wet ones.  Here we are before setting out.…
