Boyne at Townley this damp, buggy morning ... but lovely nevertheless. Pastel over watercolour on own pastel board (Art Spectrum pastel primer on Saunders Waterford hot press paper ... quite nice, first time to try it).

Anyone interested in joining me tomorrow to paint at the canal at Oldridge?   The canal is beautiful this time of year.  We could meet in the Village Inn in Slane at 11. To get to SLANE from Dublin I recommend you go through Finglas (N2).   At the crossroads in Slane turn left and its the first pub on the left.  After coffee we can head to Oldbridge.
