Towards the Farm, Slade

That was such a hot day. Just a few weeks ago, hard to believe now. Almost too hot to paint in - for me anyway. I had to stand in the full sun to paint this, but it was worth it.

Thanks John. I like solitude when I paint, and it's usually difficult to find buildings and peace and quiet at the same time.

Wonderful painting Michael. I really like when you include geometric shapes in your paintings and add contrast with the darks, the colours and the shapes, and the vanishing point in this is great.
