Thanks you all for your comments. I hate to have to admit John that I did try this in oils AND watercolours on a previous trip. Must try again. No doubt it will be a help having done the drawing. The residents really will be suspicious next time though.

Lovely set of drawings Sally. Why not try you hand at a watercolour version of this one. Would lend itself great to this medium.

Had a most enjoyable day Caroline, despite the terrible weather.  Did a sketch crawl on my way home.
