Yes Sally, the watercolour got digitally cropped and then cropped by the scissors as I dont want to spend any more energy trying to make it as I saw it, I lost the lightness that was there at the start. Sometimes its best to leave it and move on. I find Arches paper can be used on both sides so its never wasted.
Wow!! Sally that Barn drawing is an exemplary use of charcoal. You have resolved the foliage in the foreground quite beautifully and that touch of sanguine/red is so apt for the subject. loads more please!!

A great trio Sally, this one is my favourite, its loose and expressive and the light falling on the bushes that are slowly taking over the barn are beautifully observed, who can resist those old barns. Thank you for organising yesterday, it was a wonderful day
