Sunset and Evening Star
And one clear call for me
And may there be no moaning at the bar,
When I put out to sea.
are the famous lines that the title comes from.

I hadn't seen this Sean, Its a superb use of watercolours. The castle is a great counterpoint to the onset of darkness. and those saturated colours are powerful. Did you do this in the evening at sunset like a nocturne?, its striking!.
This a gem Sean. Was doing a bit of browsing. You've a great ability with colours. That's a spooky blue and the sienna(?) of the castle wall sets it off really well. Didn't see Bob Ross last night but glad to say I did see Churchill/ Andrew Marr and enjoyed it. It was a bit of a revelation. I like A Marr anyhow and he is quite an expert on painting. Of course it was nice for Churchill to be able to go off with his assistant to the Med. and the wonderful saturated colours. Do you think Google Maps could bring us there?
Caroline and Sean thank you both for saying nice things about the back yard. This art is great you can remove all junk by just ignoring it..
Beautiful colours Sean and love the poem too
Thanks Deirdre, Dee and Sally for your kind comments.
Fantastic Sean. This castle has stories to tell. You have created a great air of mystery.
Well done sean, another cracker.
