12" x 9" oil on panel. Afternoon.
Spectacular cliffs near Carnivan Bay/Baginbun Head (where Strongbow landed with his Norman mercenaries).
A few kamikaze midges to deal with when it is dry - why do they always go for the sky and the white bits??

Hold you to it!
Hi Elaine, congrats on your exhibition - and Sales!!! Look forward to escorting you to paint this view on your next visit!
Thanks everyone for kind remarks.
Okay, I'm gonna retitle it 'Coastal Scene with Murder of Crows' - those pesky midges will not have met their end in vain.
Really like this one. I always love this kind of a view. There must have been a LOT of midges around!
Great power communicated in those cliffs....A Strongbow spirit! Midges beware.!
Terrific painting Tony. I love the sky too.
Nice tony--Ardis told me one time to leave them in cause they looked like birds
They only go for it when it looks real, Tony! Nice one!
