lovely work
I agree with Caroline and Pat as I also was discomflabbulated by one I hadn't come across before. While it sounds like an unpleasant skin rash, eximious, apparently has a noble etymology going back to the latin of ancient Rome and is a very positive appellation.
Well, I have an old antique copy of Websters dictionary so I will have to study it - but I just like plain old ordinary speaking so sean , as I said before, this is simply beautiful and with wonderful play of light against dark which is so subtle in places
Well, what a word - never even of it.
Fantastic Sally ....wonderful painting with words ...certainly a first for plein eire....both yourself and Sean know that I am only joking, which brings the best responses from you both!
PAT
Love your colours Sean!
Sean and Pat, your logorrhoea describing the quality of the choice of Annagassan as a paintout location are both eximious and meritorious and transcend the usual prosaic observations. (One of these words is in the Thesaurus and NOT in (my) dictionary can you find which one?)
Thanks Pat for making the meaning clear - with your usual sagacity.
What a wonderful word Sean..PERSPICACITY (Clear or sharp understanding) don't think I ever heard of it before.
Pat
