SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.
Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)
The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy
As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.
In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:
Duncormick, Screen, Killinick, Lady's Island, Clohamon, Saltmills, Slade

Where exactly is that, Phil? Is it Edenvale? If so, a lot of us have painted there quite frequently. My main concern though is that I've heard that cars have been vandalised there recently.
How about a picturesque valley - the Sow River waterfall near Castlebridge, it has good scope for water and trees and is sheltered. There is parking for a few cars, up to 10 or 12.
Any thoughts for Sunday week ? April 21st
Next Sunday is St Patrick's Day, Karen, so maybe a lot of people have other plans. I've already secured permission (required hanging out the washing, doing some ironing and cooking a couple of dinners!).
After getting our noses cut off with the cold wind last time..we're eagerly looking for a location with some shelter for a possible paint out this Sunday?
How about Duncormick ? We were here about this time last year, and were told of some areas around it that still need to be discovered ??
Here's a link to last years page http://pleineire.ning.com/group/southeastpleinair/page/duncormick-c...

Next Paintout has been suggested :
The Safe Harbour Rosslare ....One of our favorite locations in the past, yet many of our group have never been. So we'll pencil in Sunday March 3rd, for this location.....
Cockleshell Exhibition
I agree it was a very enjoyable event, but felt it was a little way out for
the time of year. What about during the summer when there would be
more people around.
