SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Hazel was well known in Wexford for her work in the Art in the Open, she never missed a w/s at the Corn loft Studio over the last 10 years. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by all her artist friends. Thanks for your friendship Hazel. R.I.P.

Carousels, puppet show, music and colourful funfair atmosphere and SEPA are invited to come along and help capture it. Sasta is organised by impresario Barry Enniscorthy, a good friend of Art on the Open and he'll be very pleased to see us there on either day.
