SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.
Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)
The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy
As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.
In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:
Duncormick, Screen, Killinick, Lady's Island, Clohamon, Saltmills, Slade

Hi Lynne, Boredale Forest near Edermine Co. Wexford has been earmarked for this Sunday (an impromptu paint out). Sorry I'm a bit late to post. Thanks for your suggestions under the discussion forum.. We were in Ferns earlier in the year, during their Medieval Festival..Couple of great spots there alright..and Leighlinbridge is a great spot too..maybe we can go to that location you suggested.. Travel is a bit of an issue this year with the cost of petrol, but maybe we can carpool for that location...
Hiya, is the group going to paint somewhere this Sunday, 25 August?
Thanks.
Hi David, here's the route to Rosslare Harbor on Google maps : Link
You'll go through Tomastown, New Ross. When you near Wexford, you'll come to a roundabout, turn right ,(heading towards Rosslare). Drive straight through the second Roundabout(Whitford Roundabout), Then at the third Roundabout(This is known as The Rosslare Roundabout) turn Right...then follow the directions below
Karen
Coming from Kilkenny do I go trough Thomastown? Where is the Rosslare roundabout? David
Bargy Castle: After Rosslare roundabout, take direction Rosslare Harbour. Turn right direction Kilmore Quay. Just after Greenacres pub on your right, turn left and you will come to a crossroad. Take a left turn and the entrance of Bargy Castle is on your right.
Can someone please send me directions to Bargy Castle. It's not on my maps. I will be coming from Kilkenny.
David Goldberg
Sorry all, change of plan for next Sunday, as Bargy Castle is now available to us for Sunday 18th August.. A new venue, which will be nice to explore..Further details on the event page...
Not to worry terry, there'll be another soon enough before Autumn takes a hold....
