SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Comment by Louise Treacy on April 18, 2015 at 11:28: Right Michael maybe ill have a look to see what it's like at tinterm first tomorrow, trying to get my gear ready, panels etc frames for Wednesday to bring and leave with Nik, going to bring three for oils andmmaybe just mounts and cellophane for water colour, cos they will look better in the church done out like that might bring one frame for w c just in case I do a nice one

I might head down towards Baginbun or the Hook later in the day anyway, if the weather is good and I'm not too tired that is. But I'll get one in at Tintern first anyway - the woods should be full of wild garlic and maybe even some early bluebells.
